Seaguard AFFF foams are manufactured with C6 Fluorosurfactants, C6-PFAS foams are NOT banned from use in Australia (except QLD & SA). All leading branded PFAS containing firefighting foams manufactured since end 2015, including all Seaguard’s fluorinated foams are high purity short-chain C6-PFAS and are not banned from use in Australia (outside QLD and SA).

Our foams comply with leading manufacturer’s voluntary adherence with the US EPA’s PFOA Stewardship Program, the United Nations Stockholm Convention POP listing process and EU PFAS regulations which has banned the use of PFOS since 2009, PFOA since 2019 and PFHxS since 2022.
